Located at 800 meters from the entrance of the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, our restaurant offers guests the opportunity to trust their feelings, relyon on their other senses!

In our restaurant, no individual tables, our guests share large host tables. As part of the experience, discussing with your neighbour, trying to imagine how they look like and meeting them after the dinner is part of the journey. It is a unique opportunity to share a moment with people you would never meet or talk to.

At Dans le Noir? dining in the dark our experts work hard to offer you the best seasonal ingredients. We offer you a unique surprise menu (pescetarian, vegetarian and vegan options available) as we want you to step out of your comfort zone and share your thoughts with your friends and family members who came along! We will, of course, cater for all allergies and dietary restrictions before you enter the dark room.

Our team is happy to welcome you

Upon arrival, we will take time to explain them how the concept works and we will take care of any dietary requirement. Then, they will need to put their trust in our guides’ hands, trained to take care and serve our guests throughout the meal. A moment outside of time, unusual and original which changes our vision of the world, inverting points of view. They will, for about an hour and a half, leave a sensorial and convivial unique experience in pitch darkness.

The classic menu for two includes a 3 course surprise menu (starter, main and dessert) with 3 juices or cocktails. Every dish can be enjoyed with a surprise glass of juices or cocktails. A journey into a whole new world of flavours and texture is waiting for you.
