Focus your attention on a wine’s taste, recognise a grape variety, decipher the aroma of a region, the strength of a tannin, the delicate nature of a bouquet, evaluate the balance, the silky and heady textures, the supple or structured body of a powerful wine. That's what you’ll discover when you visit the Dans le Noir ? Sensory Lounge, with its sensory expert Tiffany Kendziolka, in partnership with teams from the Dans le Noir ? restaurants & his sommelier Fabio Sutera.

Tasting five rigorously selected wines in pitch darkness, accompanied by an unexpected guide, giving you the opportunity to question yourself with a delightful, surprising experience!

Themed tastings, a workshop to discover wine through the nose,... our team offers you a wide range of wine-based sensory experiences.

An original activity open to everyone (over 18y.o): beginner, amateur, wine club, enthusiast, oenologist or sommelier. An experience you can do alone, with a partner or in a group, in the heart of Paris.

In the heart of Paris, the Dans le Noir ? Sensory Lounge offers perfume courses and perfume workshops unique in the world in pitch darkness to share your emotions or boost your memories, find your nose and help you to choose your favorite perfume.

Our team led by Tiffany Kendziolka, sensory expert (Master2 graduate at ISIPCA), offers three kind of courses or workshops:

« The Perfume & you » is a real perfume course. Guided by an expert graduated from one of the best perfume schools in the world, let yourself be surprised by the olfactory opulence of a bark, a spice or a flower petal. From the aromatic to the boisé, explore five great olfactory universes and identify your favourite discovering delightful raw materials and fragrances.

 

« Oriental & You » offers you to deepen your knowledge of perfume through a journey to the heart of the Orient, through materials and fragrances emblematic of this universe. Its olfactory value and complexity will have no secrets for you. This expert course allows fans of this olfactory universe to go much further in the exploration of this fragrance family through the experience of pitch darkness.

 

« La Malle aux Parfums» is an original workshop and an opportunity to socialize. Let yourself be surprised by buried or forgotten olfactory emotions. An experience to be guided by our senses through memories. A unique occasion to socialize through a perfume experience, guided by one of our sensory expert.

After any perfume workshop, choose a box of three perfumes from your favourite family to refine your selection and sharpen your nose! Each box contains 3 bottles of 7.5 ml

Just follow Tiffany, our perfume expert, during this poetic and mesmerizing moment.

Tiffany Kendziolka is an expert in sensorial analysis. Visually impaired, she turned her disability into a strength by getting a Master degree of sensorial analysis – Perfume at the ISIPCA (Superior International Institute of Perfume, Cosmetic and Aromatic) in Versailles, where she developed her sensorial sensitivity, particularly her olfactory sensitivity. After two years of experience in a major cosmetic firm, in charge of studies in sensorial evaluation of perfumes, Tiffany joined the team of Dans le Noir? She contributed to the conception of innovative workshops in complete darkness about perfume and enology. By proposing to forget sight for the time of an experience, Tiffany offers her workshops guests at the Sensory Lounge Dans le Noir?, another way to feel the flavors, the scents, the textures. She conveys her expertise through informative and friendly exchanges, and not without emotion and poetry.
